The Best Rice Pudding in the World

Both sets of my grandparents are from Portugal and make delicious food all of the time. Well the women make the food, the men, not so much.

My dad’s mother makes an incredible rice pudding. She claims its “os mehores do mundo” (the best in the world) and came to Minnisingh to teach us how to make it. Per most of grandma’s reipes, there are no measurements – one does everything “com os ohos” (with your eyes). Using coffee cups and a gallon of milk as her guide and me rushing to measure everything before she threw it in the pot, she did make some silky, tasty and great rice pudding. I am going to try replicating the recipe before putting it up online, but here is the beauty!
